Innovation Ignition Boot Camp

Innovation Ignition Boot Camp held at Chennai.

A team of 5 members from the ECE department participated and won third prize (Cash Award of Rs. 40,000/-) in the “Design Spark Challenge 2025”, a 50-hour non-stop innovation challenge held between March 7–9, 2025 by the School of Design Thinking at Intellect Design Arena, Chennai. The team was guided by Dr. M.Senthilarasi, ECE Department

Ms. Dharshini P, Third year ECE student,also won the Storyteller Award (Rs. 2,000/-) in this Challenge.

TCE has prior experience in successfully offering its own online courses that combine the best of both worlds— theoretical knowledge and practical application.

Offerings

TCE extended its reach by offering 40 expertly designed online certificate courses to external participants, attracting demonstrating strong engagement and sustained commitment. Participants came from 45 reputed institutions and industries across India, including NIT Calicut, VIT, SRM, Accenture, and Bangalore International Airport Ltd., reaffirming the positive impact and credibility of TCE’s online education initiatives.

IUCEE NEP Minicourses Details

Indo Universal Collaboration for Engineering Education (IUCEE) Mission National Education Policy (NEP) offers Mini courses to improve the quality and global relevance of engineering education. IUCEE emphasizes the implementation of the NEP guideline of providing “holistic and multidisciplinary” education. The NEP mini courses provide unique perspectives to problem-based and project-based learning. Based on teaching strategies, engages participants in considering how these elements could be integrated into their own courses. Nearly 340 students were undertaken these courses till AY 2026
