THIDALS

THIDALS (Thiagarajar Development of All Level Sports) is the organizing committee made up of student representatives from all the teams headed by the Physical Director, which organizes all the Sports activities of our college and also make arrangements for our college teams to take part in tournaments conducted by other Universities and Colleges.

2020-2021

Department of Physical Education is organized an Online Intra College Chess Tournament on 20.02.2021 & 21.02.2021. Around 280 students participated in this tournament.

2019-2020

INTRA & INTER DEPARTMENT TOURNAMENTS:

The following various Intra & Inter-Department Tournaments have been conducted to motivate our college students to participate in sports and games.

  • 5th Inter-Department Football tournament for men was organized from 20th January 2020 to 30th January 2020 to strengthen our Men’s Football team.
  • Thiagarajar Volleyball League (TVL) 5th Inter-Department Volleyball Tournament for men and women was organized from 21st January to 27th January 2020 at our college campus.
  • Intra College Chess Competition was organized on 2nd February 2020 at our College campus. Nearly 370 students participated in the competition.
  • 8th Intra and Inter Department Badminton Tournament was organized for both men and women from 27th January to 4th February strengthen our college Badminton team.
  • Thiagarajar Premier League (TPL) 12th Inter-Department Cricket Tournament was organized from 5th February to 3rd March 2020 at our College campus.
  • Thiagarajar Basketball League (TBL) 4th and 2nd Inter-Department Basketball Tournament for men and women respectively was organized from 17th to 25th February 2020.
  • 2nd Inter-Department Tennis tournament for men and women was organized from 19th February to 9th March 2020.
  • 2nd and 1st Inter Department Handball tournament for men and women respectively was organized from 2nd to 14th March 2020.
  • 2nd Inter-Department Ball Badminton tournament for men and women was organized from 5th to 14th March 2020.
  • 2nd Inter-Department Judo tournament for men and women was organized from 9th to 11th March 2020.
  • 2nd Inter-Department Kho-Kho tournament for men and women will be organized from 25th March to 3rd April 2020.
  • 2nd Inter-Department Hockey tournament for men and women will be organized from 23rd to 29th March 2020.
  • 2nd Inter-Department Kabaddi tournament for men will be organized from 23rd to 29th March 2020.
  • 2nd Inter-Department Table Tennis tournament for men and women respectively will be organized from 29th March to 2nd April 2020.
  • 5th Inter-Department Athletics Meet for men and women was organized from  20th March to 3rd April 2020.

2018-2019

  • Thiagarajar Basketball League (TBL) 3rd Inter-Department Basketball Tournament for men was organized from 22nd February 2019 to 06th March 2019.
  • 8th Intra and Inter-Departmental Badminton Tournament was organized for both men and women from 11th February 2019 to 18th February 2019 to strengthen our college Badminton team.

  • 1st Inter-Department Kho-Kho tournament for men and women was organized from 21st March 2019 to 25th March 2019.
  • 1st Inter-Department Table Tennis tournament for men and women was organized from 28th February 2019 to 29th February 2019.
  • 1st Inter-Department Volleyball tournament for women was organized from 25th March 2019 to 29th March 2019.
  • 1st Inter-Department Basketball tournament for women was organized from 04th March 2019 to 07th March 2019.
  • 1st Inter-Department Hockey 5s tournament for men and women was organized from 25th March 2019 to 29th March 2019.
  • 1st Inter-Department Tennis tournament for men and women was organized from 01st March 2019 to 06th March 2019.
  • 1st Inter-Department Ball Badminton tournament for men and women was organized from 11th March 2019 to 15th March 2019.
  • 1st Inter-Department Handball tournament for men was organized from 27th March 2019 to 03rd April 2019.
  • 1st Inter-Department Judo tournament for men was organized from 21st March 2019 to 22nd March 2019.
  • 4th Inter-Department Athletics Meet was organized for both men and women from 3rd to 7th April 2019.

2017-2018

  • Thiagarajar Basketball League (TBL) 2nd Inter-Department Basketball Tournament for men was organized from 3rd to 22nd January 2018.
  • Thiagarajar Premier League (TPL) 10th Inter Department Cricket Tournament was organized from 10th January 2018 to 21st February 2018 at our College campus.
  • 7th Intra and Inter-Departmental Badminton Tournament was organized for both men and women from 18th January 2018 to 26th January 2018 to strengthen our Badminton team.
  • 3rd Inter-Department Athletics Meet was organized for both men and women from 05th February 2018 to 08th February 2018.

2016-2017

  • 2nd Inter-Department Athletics Meet was organized for both men and women from 30th January 2017 to 3rd February 2017.
  • Thiagarajar Volleyball League (TVL) 2nd Inter-Department Volleyball Tournament for men was organized from 12th January 2017 to 7th February 2017.
  • Thiagarajar Premier League (TPL) 9th Inter Department Cricket Tournament was organized from 18th January 2017 to 22nd February 2017 at our College campus.
  • Thiagarajar Basketball League (TBL) 1st Inter-Department Basketball Tournament for men was organized from 20th to 27th February 2017.
