IETSC (IUCEE EWB TCE Student Chapter)

Student Chapter Information

The Student chapter of "Engineers Without Borders"-India was established at our Thiagarajar college of Engineering by on July, 2020. The objective of the TCE-EWB Student Chapter of "Engineers without Borders" India is to implement sustainable development Projects for the benefits of People, while training its members to become Project Mentors and Leaders with the motto of "Leadership through Service". Basic objective is to create Global Humanitarian Engineers and Global Leaders with Social and Moral values. In the pursuit of the objectives, the chapter will operate in accordance with the Constitution and bye-laws of EWB-India.

To serve the society by taking part in industrial, scientific, innovation, academic activities with competent professional minds with human values and ethics

  • To Train the future Engineers to solve Real time problems and motivate to become Global Leaders.

FATHIMA FIROSE, KRITHIKAA AND SUDAR MANIKANTAN

Fathima Firose, Krithikaa and Sudar manikantan represented our chapter in an national level debate event "Clash of minds" conducted by Anurag Chapter and secured 2nd place and won a prize money of ₹1000 among participants over all other chapters.

Secured 1st Place in "On the Spot Speaking Competition" held as a part of IUCEE Student Summit 2021

  1. Awarded with Excellent performance Award in IUCEE (Indo Universal Collaboration for Engineering Education) "Student Leadership course" project implementation 2020.

  2. Attended "ICTIEE 2021 (Eighth Annual International Conference on Transformations In Engineering Education)conducted by IUCEE.

RESHMA M CIVIL (2019-2023)

Reshma M civil engineering (2019-2023) got E-BADGE for her project Rainwater Conservation And Wastewater Treatment With Bio-Gas Generation For A Sustainable Environment.

IASF 2023 is a flagship event conducted every year by IUCEE where students all over India will participate in this forum. This annual student forum is a part of the International Conference on Transformation In Engineering Education (ICTIEE). The IETSC Chapter represented TCE in this forum and won various prizes and created a strong impact about IETSC in that forum.
